Run by husband and wife: Crispin and Sue Tweddell, Woodlands Dairy is a specialist producer of award-winning  sheep yoghurt in the UK. With four organic herds, they produce around 300,000  tons of sheep milk yoghurt each year, using a traditional yoghurt-making technique called 'hot potting'. The milk is  heated; yoghurt culture is added, and put straight into pots.  It is  then kept warm for about four hours to produce smooth, set yoghurt. Hot  potting also ensures the milk proteins stay strong, which in turn is  healthier for the digestive system. Woodlands Dairy Sheep yoghurts are  light and fresh tasting, incredibly smooth and very slightly tangy

Healthier than cow’s yoghurt and easier to digest.  Even people with dairy intolerances can eat sheep yogurt.
Five health facts you didn’t know about sheep yoghurt:
1. Sheep yoghurt is easier for the body to digest than cow’s milk yoghurt.  It is rich in poly-unsaturated fats - this helps higher lactose absorption
2. Sheep yoghurt can also help reduce cholesterol
3. Sheep milk yoghurt contains 214mg of calcium per 100g, 50% more than cow’s milk
4. It also has 100% more protein than its cow’s milk alternative
5. Woodlands Dairy sheep yoghurts contain live cultures: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus bulgarius and Streptococcus thermophilus which may help maintain a good digestive system
