Wool baby bedding

British wool baby bedding is great at providing the perfect night's sleep, essential for your baby's health and wellbeing, naturally! In fact, the quality of your baby's sleep is just as important as the quality of food that they eat!

That's why buying a wool baby bedding set is such a great investment. Wool bedding can really help make a difference and help your baby get the sleep they need in those early years.

Wool bedding is good for babies

Wool bedding not only gives your baby more sleep and comfort, scientific research has also shown that babies settle quicker with wool bedding, cry less during the night, feed better, gain weight faster and are even less cranky throughout the day!

Why use wool baby bedding

Synthetic bedding often prevents your baby's skin from breathing naturally, making them feel uncomfortable.
However, thanks to wool's natural miracle properties, wool cot bed duvets, mattress enhancers and wool pillows can all manage your baby's personal micro-climate in bed.
This keeps your baby cosy and warm, but also ensures he or she does not overheat. It also helps give them 25% more stage 4 regenerative sleep, recharging their energy for the day ahead.

Wool filled baby bedding is recommended for babies aged 12 months plus.

Anti allergy bedding for your little one

If you're looking for a hypoallergenic baby bedding option, wool is great at keeping dust mites away. In fact scientific testing has shown that our wool baby bedding is completely resistant to dust mite, dust mite allergens, mold and fungus.

There's no need to wash at 60°C every few weeks as the allergens simply can't survive in our wool bedding. For this our Babywool range has been awarded the Allergy UK seal of approval.

Industry approved baby beddings

We love our wool baby products, and the wool industry does too. Our British wool baby bedding is both Oeko-Tex Standard 100, accredited to show it is safe for baby, and also has British Wool Marketing Board Platinum Wool certification to show the wool is 100% British

Natural, safe and hypoallergenic, luxury baby bedding from The Wool Room gives your baby an unparalleled level of comfort - and afterall, 36 million sheep can't be wrong!

This bedding has changed my life. After a 3 year desensitising programme at the allergy clinic, emptying my bedroom of carpets and curtains, boil washing bedding twice a week, buying new pillows every month I now have a normal approach to bedroom life. I sleep better, don't have to set the alarm for 6.00am in order to take my decongestion tablets, anti histamines and sprays so that I can get up and go to work. The allergy clinic should be informed about the value of wool. I saw at least 3 different consultants who gave me loads of suggestions but not one mentioned wool bedding. Thank you
