Wool Mattress Toppers

Experience Deeper, More Restorative Sleep

Our wool mattress toppers are more than just an extra layer; they are an investment in your health. By harnessing the incredible natural properties of wool, we help you create the perfect sleep environment.

Perfect Temperature, All Night Long

Wool is nature's miracle fibre for temperature regulation. Its unique breathability wicks moisture away from your body, helping you sleep cool and dry in the summer. In winter, it creates an insulating layer of warmth. It's the ideal solution for couples with different temperature needs and anyone who struggles with night sweats or feeling cold.

Naturally Hypoallergenic & Chemical-Free

Sleep soundly knowing you're not breathing in harmful chemicals. Unlike synthetic foam toppers, our organic wool mattress toppers are naturally resistant to dust mites, mould, and mildew. This makes them the perfect hypoallergenic mattress topper for those with allergies, asthma, or sensitive skin.

Luxurious Cushioning & Pressure Relief

Add a layer of plush mattress topper comfort to your existing bed. The natural crimp and resilience of wool provide gentle, adaptive support that cushions your joints and relieves pressure points in your hips, shoulders, and back. It's the perfect way to revitalize an older mattress or soften a new one that feels too firm.

Sustainable, Traceable & Organic

Rest easy on sustainable bedding that’s as good for the planet as it is for you. We use fully traceable, organic wool, ensuring it's completely chemical-free and ethically sourced. Wool is a renewable and biodegradable fibre, making it a responsible choice for your home.

Find the Right Wool Mattress Topper for Your Bed

Topper vs. Pad vs. Protector: What's the Difference?

It's easy to get confused! Here’s a simple breakdown:

• Mattress Protector: A thin layer designed primarily to protect your mattress from stains, spills, and allergens.
• Mattress Pad: Sits between a protector and a topper, offering a small amount of extra padding and temperature regulation.
• Mattress Topper: Our thickest layer, designed to fundamentally change the feel of your mattress by adding significant cushioning, pressure relief, and support.

Latex vs. Wool Mattress Topper: Which is Right for Me?

When comparing a latex vs wool mattress topper, it's less about competition and more about your primary need.

• A 100% wool topper is unmatched for softness, plush comfort, and temperature regulation. If your main goal is to soften a firm mattress and sleep cooler or warmer, a pure wool topper is your best choice.
• A latex topper provides a more "bouncy" and responsive feel, offering excellent, firm support and pressure relief. However, it doesn't have the same breathability or moisture-wicking power as wool.
• Our Hybrid Solution: We combine the best of both worlds in our Latex Wooly Topper. It features a supportive latex core wrapped in our signature traceable wool. This gives you the responsive pressure relief of latex and the superior temperature-regulating, hypoallergenic benefits of wool.

FAQ

What are the benefits of a wool mattress topper?

A wool mattress topper adds a plush layer of comfort while naturally regulating your body temperature, keeping you cool and dry all night. It's also naturally hypoallergenic, resisting dust mites and mould, making it perfect for allergy sufferers and those seeking a chemical-free sleep environment.

Will a wool mattress topper make me hot?

No, just the opposite! Wool is incredibly breathable and excels at temperature regulation. It wicks moisture to keep you cool and dry in the summer while insulating you in the winter, making it the perfect year-round topper.

How to clean a wool mattress topper?

Our toppers are not machine washable. We recommend airing them out seasonally. The natural fibres of wool are self-cleaning and repel odours. For any spills, spot-clean immediately. We highly recommend pairing your topper with one of our washable wool mattress protectors to keep it fresh.

Is a wool topper good for side sleepers?

Yes, it's excellent for side sleepers. The plush wool provides significant cushioning for pressure points like the hips and shoulders, helping to maintain proper spinal alignment and reduce aches.

How to fluff a wool mattress topper?

To fluff your wool topper, simply take it off the bed and give it a vigorous shake from each side; this helps redistribute the wool fibres. We also recommend flipping and/or rotating your topper head-to-toe seasonally, or monthly if you prefer, to ensure even wear and maintain its loft.
