Bedding Orders
For all orders that contain bedding it will ship from our Canadian distribution center in Ottawa, ON on a 2-4 day ground service using FedEx, UPS or Canada Post. This is a free service for all orders over $150 that will take 2-4 working days to reach you. Your tracking number will be provided to you once your items have been dispatched from our distribution center. As we believe our products are of a significant value we require a signature for all orders. In certain circumstances this signature may be waivered for a contactless delivery.
Please note that in exceptional circumstances your order may be fulfilled from elsewhere. This may go via a different courier to FedEx, UPS or Canada Post. This will not affect the delivery time or experience in any way. We are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses, please use an alternative address or your order may result in a failed delivery.
Mattress & Topper Orders
Our mattresses and toppers are hand-made in the USA. Shipping will take place from Greenville, SC and will be shipped using FedEx Ground Service to the front door of the building in a streamlined box. This will take 7-10 working days from the point of ordering. This is a free service to mainland Canada however for Alaska and outer regional areas additional charges may apply. As our mattresses and Toppers are made and shipped from the USA, there are no additional duty charges or taxes to pay.
Please note: Mattresses are available for Canada mainland shipping at no additional cost. If you are requiring overseas shipping then we are able to do this at an additional cost dependant on location. Please contact us for a delivery quote by email tocustomercare@thewoolroom.com. 100 Night Sleep Trials would not be applicable for mattress orders outside of mainland Canada.
Duty Payments and Customs
As your order will be shipping from within Canada you won't be subject to any duties or taxes. Please note, goods delivered to destinations outside of Canada may be subject to taxes or other charges, which are imposed by local legislation and are out of Woolroom's control. The recipient of the goods will be required to pay any additional charges.
If your order is being delivered to somebody else, please make sure they are aware as they will be responsible for these additional charges if applicable.
PLEASE NOTE: Any orders that are shipped where failed delivery takes place or if there is a refusal of the items then a return and admin charge of 50% of your total order value will incur to return the goods back to us as the sender. This will be taken from the credit of the order.
Other Shipping Information
- We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales. However, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the goods or otherwise perform any obligation as specified in these terms and conditions if the same is wholly or partly caused whether directly or indirectly by circumstances beyond our reasonable control
- As our merchandise is 'of reasonable value', we may choose a shipping service which requires a signature on delivery. Please bear this in mind when placing your order.
- In the unlikely event of goods not being delivered within 15 working days from the despatch date, customers should advise us. We will make every effort to locate the goods and if necessary, send a replacement at our expense, or provide a full refund.
- If the goods arrive damaged in any way, customers should contact us within 14 working days of receipt and return the goods as soon as possible. We will send a replacement upon confirmation that the damaged goods have been returned.
- Risk of loss and damage of goods passes to you on the date when the goods are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.
- Time of delivery shall not be of the essence of the contract.
