Are wool blankets itchy?

When made from high quality wool fibers, wool blankets are not itchy. It is less refined and cheaper quality wools that give wool their itchy reputation. Our wool blankets and throws are made from fine, soft fibers that are much less likely to cause discomfort.

How do I clean my throw?

Wool throws should be cleaned by a professional dry cleaner only. With wool being the wonder material it is, you shouldn't need to wash it very often - a good shake, brush or a couple of hours hanging in the great outdoors will freshen it up. This product is not suitable for machine washing or tumble drying.

Can wool blankets be used year-round?

Absolutely! Wool is an excellent insulator and naturally regulates temperature, making it perfect for use in both winter and summer. In cold weather, wool traps heat to keep you warm, while in warmer conditions, its breathability helps to dissipate heat and moisture, keeping you cool and comfortable.

Spot clean if necessary. Dab up an excess liquid and dry flat. Professional dry cleaning is recommended.

We use a tracked DPD Local service for UK deliveries so that your orders will arrive as quickly as possible. When placing your order or creating an account your mobile phone number and email should be supplied so we can keep you updated with your latest delivery information.

For any mattress, bed or headboard order a special two-man service** is used to deliver our beds and mattresses to ensure quality of service. As standard, all beds and mattresses will be delivered to a room of your choice, unpackaged and assembled (where applicable) and all packaging taken away. This is a free service, but a small charge may apply for certain postcode areas. The delivery service offered is to the first floor only. Our delivery team can deliver to additional floors however this will come at an additional cost. For a small additional charge, we can even remove and responsibly recycle a like-for-like product.
