Care Instructions

We recommend machine washing on a wool/delicate cycle at 40 degrees using wool detergent, a spin speed lower than 800RPM and then line drying. We do not advise tumble drying. This product is not suitable for vacuum storage.
Shipping

For all orders that contain bedding or accessories, it will ship from our US distribution center in Knoxville on a 2-3 day ground service using FedEx, UPS and Canada Post. FREE ground shipping for all orders $150 and over pre sales tax. Applicable for mainland Canada only.
Mattress orders will be delivered to your doorstep via FedEx in 7-10 days, not including the time required to hand craft your mattress. Your tracking number will be provided to you once your items have been dispatched from our distribution center. As we believe our products are of a significant value we require a signature for all orders. In certain circumstances this signature has been waivered for a contactless delivery.
Please note that in exceptional circumstances your order may be fulfilled from elsewhere. This may go via a different courier to FedEx or UPS. This will not affect the delivery time or experience in any way. We are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses, please use an alternative address or your order may result in a failed delivery.

Truly Machine Washable

It's impossible to produce a completely machine washable wool bedding without using some form of treatment on the fibre. It is a complex process that requires a lot of skill and knowledge. We are pioneers of creating a truly machine washable wool bedding.

Ordinarily, the combination of moisture, heat and movement in the washing machine will cause wool to felt and shrink. We've overcome this by bathing our British wool in a chlorine solution, which smooths out the natural barbs you find in wool (these are what cause untreated wool to shrink, clump and ultimately felt).

A wool duvet or duvet insert and a wool comforter are the same thing. Depending on where you live, you may be used to calling them one name or the other. But, they are the same product! Our wool comforters can be used as-is for bedding or you can insert into a duvet (or comforter) cover for style and protection between cleanings.

You can, but you don't have to! Our wool comforters are essentially duvet inserts. They can be enjoyed with or without a cover. Covers add style, color, and help extend the length of time you can go between washes. All of the cotton on our products is extremely soft and kind to the skin so if you decide not to use a cover, you'll still be comfortable and won't be in direct contact with the wool inside.

I live in the south, so my wife and I have been looking for a comforter that is not sufficatingly hot for both of us during the warmer months (we are both hot sleepers). Since we have received this we have both been very impressed with the quality and and how cool but stil comfortable and warm it keeps us at night. It actually helped my wife get a good full nights sleep for the first time in a little bit.

I would definitely recommend this comforter for anyone that gets hot at night and is looking for a solution. It is slightly pricey, but for me it is worth spending a bit more on a quality item that you will re-use frequently and for both my wife and I this hit the mark there. The quality is on part with what I feel like I spend and it keeps us cool and comfortable. Would definitely recommend it to others.

I purchased a wool comforter from Woolroom expecting premium quality and a comfortable sleep experience, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations at all.

The comforter felt much heavier and less breathable than advertised. Instead of helping regulate temperature, I often found myself too warm during the night. For a product marketed as a natural, luxury bedding solution, the overall comfort was disappointing.

What made the experience even worse was the return process. I purchased the comforter believing Woolroom stood behind its products and return policy, but when I decided the comforter wasn't right for me, returning it became far more complicated than expected. The customer service experience left me frustrated and feeling like the company was more focused on avoiding returns than helping customers.

For the high price charged, I expected a much better product and a smoother customer experience. Based on my experience, I would not purchase another comforter from Woolroom and would not recommend it to others looking for hassle-free customer service.

Overall, this was an expensive disappointment that failed to live up to the company's marketing and promises.

We just switched to the light comforter from the regular for our very hot-sleeping daughter. Her regular wool comforter moved on to her sister, (her first wool comforter). They both said they had the BEST sleep of their life! Lol. A couple weeks later and everyone is still loving their bedding, sleeping comfortably, sweating less. Also, I don’t have to wash these frequently, because…wool. It’s magical!

I am very pleased with the light Wool Comforter. It is not heavy as my husband doesn't like the extra heaviness, yet it is warm. The quality of the comforter itself is very well presented. I have not washed it as of yet so hoping it will not "bunch" up. The size is just right- no fighting for the covers :).

We live in New England and originally purchased the medium weight version. However, this was too warm for our needs even on cold nights, so we returned it and got light version which has been perfect. It's so breathable and more temperature regulating than we even expected. That said, it seems like we sleep hot compared to the average person, and will likely switch to a quilt in the warmer months. Overall, we love that this is washable as our dog sleeps in our bed, and we appreciate the peace of mind it gives us.

This seems like a nice comforter, but was way too hot for me on the nights I tried it out, when inside temps were around 68 degrees. I'm not an especially hot sleeper so I was surprised to wake up sweating.

Warmth is great. I have the light weight comforter, and it visually looks like a thicker quilted blanket. I keep my house at 68 at night in the winter and it’s VERY warm. I’m a little nervous in the summer when I keep it at 72 at night, but I think I’ll acclimate nicely with it being a natural material. There is absolutely no smell, which was always an issue for me with the down comforters. I’ve been sleeping with this for a couple weeks now and am loving it so far. Would recommend!
