    A great all round medium weight washable duvet, hand-crafted from fully traceable soft British wool and certified organic cotton. Our Deluxe Washable medium duvet will deliver better sleep and is a perfect option for all year round.

    The Deluxe Washable Collection features the finest quality wool sourced from British Farms. Part of our Wool ID® Traceable wool programme, this collection features all the all the benefits of Woolroom bedding: temperature regulating, naturally hypoallergenic, machine washable, traceable British Wool and is proven to deliver the very best, natural night's sleep.

    All Woolroom duvets are suitable for those with allergies and are the only wool duvets to hold the Allergy UK Seal of Approval.

    We recommend machine washing on a wool/delicate cycle at 40 degrees using wool detergent, a spin speed lower than 800RPM and then line drying. We do not advise tumble drying. This product is not suitable for vacuum storage.

Truly Machine Washable

It's impossible to produce a completely machine washable wool pillow without using some form of treatment on the fibre. It is a complex process that requires a lot of skill and knowledge. We are pioneers of creating a truly machine washable wool duvet.

Ordinarily, the combination of moisture, heat and movement in the washing machine will cause wool to felt and shrink. We've overcome this by bathing our British wool in a chlorine solution, which smooths out the natural barbs you find in wool (these are what cause untreated wool to shrink, clump and ultimately felt).

Exceptional, game-changing product for anyone not already sleeping with wool. Made in Lithuania unfortunately but I'll overlook that for this particular product. Not sure it's worth the patriotic compromise for the pillows and protector, however

I invested in a wool duvet from The Woolroom, after being rather impressed with their V-shaped pillow. The duvet is super quality, surprisingly slim with decent weight and lovely and warm. It's very comfortable. I love knowing it's natural, with no plastic nasties, and ethically sourced from their well cared for flocks 🐑 Plus, it's machine washable. Win-win.

This duvet is fabulous! And dare I say I prefer it so much more to goose down… It somehow adjusts and makes it perfect temperature to sleep in. I am always cold and prefer warmer duvets, however my husband usually sweats in them, but not this one. It makes me warm and cosy and husband hasn’t felt hot and sweaty in it. Overall, the service was beyond perfect too as got it delivered in less than 24hours after ordering. Highly recommend!

What can I say...... there's nothing like a duvet from the WOOLROOM ! Materials are exceptional, no chemicals or plastic, such an amazing experience, knowing you are surrounded by natural, basically from nature, quality materials. For me the tog is an all year round sleeping, lounging and resting duvet just like being wrapped in air while you drift off. This is he second duvet I have bought along with 6 pillows from the range, I highly recommend !

So ... I bought this duvet to replace my winter one, thinking I wouldn't use it for a few months. But then I was swayed by what I read on the website and by a friend who has one and uses it all year round and decided to try it in now, in the summer months. And, apart from the most extreme hot temperatures, I have been amazed at how well it adapts to keep me comfortable. It's also relatively light, and an added bonus is how easy it is to put a duvet cover on. Highly recommended.
