Deluxe Washable Wool Mattress Protector - Extra-Deep Skirt

Absolutely love it. I bought it to go over the top of the thick organic mattress topper so that it could be easily washed. It is packaged beautifully in a cotton back, and the protector itself is really well made with soft padding. I have a 30cm deep mattress, with a 7cm topper, and the elasticated skirt all the way round was easily enough to keep it firmly in place. I have used it now for a few weeks and it hasn't shifted position. Lovely light fresh scent of sheepy wool too, which I hope remains!

Been waiting for our new mattress to arrive and have just opened our equally new mattress protector from Woolroom and really pleased with the feel and quality, and something we were concerned about the depth of the side skirt, didn’t need too plenty of material, so very happy with our purchase.

I bought one of these to replace my old and slowly starting to pull apart one. The extra deep skirt is great as it tucks right under the mattress (30cm) and doesnt move about. The material of the skirt is cotton and firmly attached - I have had ones where you can accidentally poke a finger through when making the bed - but no danger here as it is robust. I bought one to give it a go to see if it would be cool enough (I run very hot) and it is very comfy, doesn't get too hot, but would be warm in winter. I bought another one, so that shows it is a good buy. I would recommend on quality, comfort and sustainability

Like many before me, no doubt always wondering if any boasts on a product lives up to it's name and, more importantly "Does What it Says on this screen!"
Well I have put this on my bed during the heatwave where the nights did not go below 20o... My wife and I are both 'Hot' sleepers and wake up about 4am soaked - it's been this way for years. Our bed and mattress is a good one and yes, it has a thin (factory made) layer of memory foam to the top of a firm mattress.

Reading about airflow being able to get under your body when laying on a mattress seemed all poppycock to me - but I am corrected!

This wool topper has made such a difference. No more sweating, no sleepless nights due to overheating, and very very comfortable in such a thin topper. You don't need heavy thick toppers - you just need the right material, and this is it! Wool.

I am very happy with my purchase and I now consider a couple of the pillows to make my bed even more cooler.

I love this protector...it is really comfortable and even in the heat wave days it does not make the bed warmer. It feels very luxurious as well. Washing is a breeze...I have the king size and it goes in my 9kg Bosch machine no problem and drys much quicker than my old cotton one. Because my mattress is really deep...the deep skirt on this protector means putting it on the bed is a breeze. Love it so much I have two!
