Beneath these natural layers lies a high-performance dual-layer spring system, featuring 2400 calico-encased pocket springs (King size). This precision-engineered design provides consistent, tailored support across the entire mattress surface. Paired with breathable cotton and additional natural fibres, it contours gently to relieve pressure, reduce motion transfer, and encourage deeper, more restorative rest.

Made without synthetic foams, glues, or chemical fire retardants, the Lindisfarne is wrapped in a Merino wool blend ticking that meets UK fire standards naturally — a purer, healthier alternative to traditional FR treatments.

Care Instructions

Letting your mattress settle:

When your mattress arrives remove all packaging to allow the mattress to air. Your mattress may seem shorter than the base its on. Once unpacked, the mattress will gradually settle and return to full size. If you find that the mattress is settling unevenly, turn and rotate the mattress.

Turning the mattress:

We recommend turning your mattress regularly for the first 12 weeks of arriving, after that we would recommend turning it every 3 months.

Cleaning your mattress:

Do not use a vacuum cleaner on your mattress. Use a soft brush to remove any fluff. In case of spillage, spot dry the liquid quickly with a dry cloth.

Larger items are delivered using our dedicated two-man service for maximum care and convenience.**
As part of this free service, our team will:
Deliver to a room of your choice (up to the first floor)
Unpack and assemble your items where required
Remove all packaging for recycling
Please note that the Junior Mattress and Woolly topper are doorstep delivery only.
Delivery to higher floors is available for an additional charge.
For a small extra fee, we can also remove and responsibly recycle your old like-for-like item.

How our mattress recycling works

Careful collection and dismantling: When your old mattress comes back to us, our delivery partners collect it and take it to a specialist recycling centre. Each mattress is handled carefully and prepared so the materials can be recovered.
Cleaned, checked and sorted: Every mattress is checked, then taken apart by hand into separate parts. Each material is cleaned, sorted and processed so it can be reused wherever possible.
Given a second life: Every week, over 16,000 mattresses are recycled in this way. Usable materials like springs, foam and fibres are given a second life and turned into new products in other industries.
