    This grading system is used to assess the condition of all our manufacturers seconds and clearance items. Each grade reflects the level of visible wear, marks, or damage present, helping to standardise how our items are evaluated and categorised. The grades range from A, representing items in near-new condition, to D, which indicates significant cosmetic damage. The table below outlines the criteria for each grade.

    Grade Description
    A Immaculate, no marks. Looks brand new from factory.
    B Minor cosmetic marks that will probably clean off.
    C Substantial cosmetic marks that are unlikely to clean off.
    D Heavy marks, visible damage but not structural.

    A minimalist take on a traditional headboard, the Stoneywell is our grandest (and biggest) design. This floor-standing headboard is crafted from a mixed-timber substrate for maximum strength.

    It is upholstered by hand in 100% British wool, available in a choice of six colours. Because wool is naturally flame retardant, this headboard passes all UK flammability laws without the use of harmful chemicals.

    • Please note that this is a particularly large headboard so it may be difficult to get up a narrow flight of stairs.


    Please note: the design on this headboard makes it unsuitable for use with a standard 4 drawer divan. Continental drawers will work fine.

    Larger items are delivered using our dedicated two-man service for maximum care and convenience.**

    As part of this free service, our team will:

    • Deliver to a room of your choice (up to the first floor)
    • Unpack and assemble your items where required
    • Remove all packaging for recycling

    Please note that the Junior Mattress and Woolly topper are doorstep delivery only.

    Delivery to higher floors is available for an additional charge.

    For a small extra fee, we can also remove and responsibly recycle your old like-for-like item.
