We fill the Beulah mattress with a carefully selected blend of British wool and 1000 individually pocketed springs for an exceptional level of support.The Beulah uses only the most natural materials which is how we can achieve a completely chemical free product. The outer fabric (ticking) on all Woolroom mattresses is developed using a blend of merino wool, which allows us to achieve British standards for flammability without the use of any unpleasant chemicals. Care Instructions

Letting your mattress settle:

When your mattress arrives remove all packaging to allow the mattress to air. Your mattress may seem shorter than the base its on. Once unpacked, the mattress will gradually settle and return to full size. If you find that the mattress is settling unevenly, turn and rotate the mattress.

Turning and Rotating the mattress:

THIS MATTRESS IS A NO TURN MATTRESS however we recommend rotating your mattress regularly for the first 12 weeks, after that we would recommend rotating it every 3 months.

Cleaning your mattress:

Do not use a vacuum cleaner on your mattress. Use a soft brush to remove any fluff. In case of spillage, spot dry the liquid quickly with a dry cloth.

Careful collection and dismantling: When your old mattress comes back to us, our delivery partners collect it and take it to a specialist recycling centre. Each mattress is handled carefully and prepared so the materials can be recovered.
Cleaned, checked and sorted: Every mattress is checked, then taken apart by hand into separate parts. Each material is cleaned, sorted and processed so it can be reused wherever possible.

Starting to feel like a scam. Ordered 12th February, told it was ready for dispatch 23rd February. Then told there was in fact no stock and that there would be stock from 6th March. 16th March, delivery booked for today, now cancelled as the courier did not receive the mattress. No real update from Woolroom, actual solution, or compensation offered. I've been sleeping on an airbed for over a week now. Appalling customer service and an apparent complete lack of ability to deliver the mattresses that they are continuing to sell. Avoid.

The mattress is very comfortable and cosy. We notice the edges don’t have much firmness but we know that you’re not supposed to sit on the edge and the part where you sleep is great.

I found this mattress a bit hard and uncomfortable. I have been sleeping on it for five months now and rotating it as required. There were pressure points, leaving me with hip pain and I feel like I am rolling into the middle. The mattress is sitting on a solid basis. I bought the Woolly Spring Mattress Topper and this has relieved the pressure points, but I still feel like I am rolling into the middle. However I do like the fact that there are no nasty chemicals in the bedding. I have all the quilts, protectors and pillows from the Woolroom, because of this reason and I really like them. I still get too hot at times in the night however. It's winter now and it's not too bad. In the summer I just couldn't get cool enough, but I doubt whether any other bedding would do better. All in all the bedding is great, but this mattress, will just have to do for the moment.

Very comfortable mattress

I sleep better for sure, no doubt, and that is due to comfort and heat control of these natural fibres. I am so happy that we invested in this product and from such a wonderful caring company. Well well well worth the money.
It’s beautiful, it’s so comfortable and it has no horrible chemical smells. Thanks to the sheep for this wonderful sleep. 🙏

The mattress, now I am finally able to use it is, very comfortable, although that is speaking from only a couple of nights use. Can't comment on VFM as that will depend on how long the mattress feels useable.

Love this. A bit of faff first couple weeks to move it around, turn etc. but totally worth it I'm not sleeping on piece of plastic.

Very Happy To Start With

I bought this mattress and top as recommended in case it had to go back .It was good for the first 5years of 10 but when l had a problem they were not at all helpful l sent photos as requested but they told me nothing was wrong with this mattress now l am in a situation of what to do.l like the product not the problem and its costly to replace. I want another wool mattress but they are not going to replace it even though it’s inside the time. Too heavy without handles

Very Comfortable So Far

At huge expense as it was insisted on for the sleep guarantee I bought a mattress protector. However so far the Beulah mattress is very comfortable.It started out a bit 'soft' in that it gave way more than I liked but it has hardened up well to be much firmer. The care procedure for the first three months is a bit of a faff however in that is has to be rotated every week and fully aired. It is nice and light to handle.The pricing seems to to suggest it is in a sale but this never changes

Lovely Mattress

I bought the Beulah mattress and the mattress protector together. The combination provides excellent support, comfort and heat control when paired with egyptian cotton sheets and cotton duvet. I am really happy with my choice.

Lovely Mattress

I took a long time to decide about getting a woollen mattress, I wasn't sure how comfortable it would be but liked the idea of natural fibres. I'm very glad I did decide on this; it's lovely and comfortable. Keeps me cool in the hot weather. Definitely recommend.

Comfortable And Improves Quality Of Sleep

The mattress gives great support, is reasonably firm and is also very comfortable. I finally have a mattress that doesn’t make me overheat at night too. My first time using a wool mattress and I will never buy anything other than wool now! I thoroughly recommend this mattress.

We moved our daughter to her "big girl bed." I wanted something non-toxic/organic and woolroom is the way to go!
