Our bed frames are handcrafted from start to finish by a third-generation, family-owned manufacturer based in Hickory, North Carolina. With more than 65 years of experience in design and furniture manufacturing, they specialize in truly benchmade furniture, with every stage of production carried out within its own factory. 

Hickory has been celebrated as the Furniture Capital of the United States for more than a century, with generations of skilled craftsmen developing an exceptional expertise in working with fine hardwoods. Why We’ve Chosen Natural Materials Over Foam

We believe the materials surrounding you should be as natural and considered as the materials you sleep on. That’s why, wherever possible, we’ve chosen natural fillings such as wool and natural latex instead of conventional foam.

Natural materials bring qualities that are difficult to replicate. Wool is naturally breathable, resilient and temperature regulating, while natural latex provides responsive cushioning and support. Together, they create a comfortable, tactile feel without relying on synthetic foam fillings. Our choice also reflects a broader commitment to quality, craftsmanship and natural materials.

Appalachian Hardwood Verified Sustainable

Our Appalachian hardwood is sourced through the Appalachian Hardwood Manufacturers, Inc. Verified Sustainable programme. The programme uses U.S. Forest Service forest inventory data to verify that the Appalachian Hardwood Forest is growing and that its growth exceeds removals, supporting its long-term sustainability.

Together, these standards provide greater confidence in the origin and responsible sourcing of the timber that forms the foundation of our frames.
