    All Seasons Duvet (2-14 tog)

    The All-Seasons duvet combines two different weight duvets giving you all year round comfort; one at a light-weight 200 gram per square metre (2-5 tog) and a medium-weight 350 gram per square metre (6-9 tog). When combined they create a 500 gsm (9-14 tog) warm duvet for the colder months with extra warmth.

    Deluxe Washable Mattress Protector

    Our wool mattress protectors are beautifully hand-crafted using 250gsm of hand-selected British wool and a 200 thread count organic cotton - absolutely no synthetics. The British wool layer is securely held in place by quilted stitch pattern, while a deep 35cm organic cotton fitted skirt ensures it's suitable for almost all mattress depths.

    Deluxe Washable Wool Ball Pillow

    Our Deluxe Washable Wool Pillow are completely adjustable, so you can tailor the depth and firmness to suit your sleeping preference. A convenient tabless zip allows you to open the pillow and add, or take away filling to suit.

    The 200tc organic cotton cover is expertly quilted with British wool for added comfort.

Our Deluxe Washable range uses wool from Downs Breeds that are hand selected and have full farm provenance. These breeds include Suffolk, Southdown, Hampshire, Oxford and Texel. The outer cover is a 200 thread count organic cotton percale, and the duvet is machine washable.

    This entire bedding bundle can be machine washed for peace of mind. Simply wash on a wool setting with wool detergent, at 40 degrees and then line dry. It really is that simple. Find out below how we manage to make it so simple and easy for you.

    The Home of Machine Washable British Wool Bedding

    It is impossible to make a wool product machine washable without using some form of treatment on the fibre. It's complex and requires a lot of skill and knowledge. In fact, it's taken us over a decade to perfect a range that performs flawlessly, without losing any of the quality that customers expect from Woolroom products.

    Ordinarily, if you wash wool, the moisture, heat and movement in the machine will cause it to felt. You might get lucky and get away with a single delicate wash, but over time the natural fibres will start damage beyond repair. Our Deluxe Washable range overcomes this as the British wool we use is bathed in a chlorine solution, which smooths out the natural barbs you find in wool (these are what cause untreated wool to felt).

    The solution is then thoroughly rinsed out of the fibre to ensure there is less residual chlorine than you'd find in tap water, and doesn't affect the performance of the fibre whatsoever. Some other brands claim that their wool bedding is machine washable, but unless the wool is treated in this way, it simply cannot withstand the vigorous motion of a washing machine.

Deluxe Washable Bedding Bundle - All Season

Great night’s sleep on this cool and comfortable bedding. The protector fits my 27-30cm deep mattress very well and stays in place nicely. I like the skirted design as this offers extra protection to the sides. I'm a hot sleeper, and love the coolness of the wool and having the all season duvet is very versatile. I bought a bag of extra wool with the pillows as other reviews said they were a bit lacking, however (although not overly plump) I found them just right so have spare if needed later on. Delivery was swift and all items were beautifully wrapped in zipped cotton bags which are great for storing the spare duvet.

Nice Quality But Heavy And Not As Warm As Expected

Pros: Very well madeNice wool smellHuge pro is no sweating, wool really regulates body temperature better than polyester.Cons: Very heavy (when two duvets are connected). The weight means it slips off the bed in the night.Not as warm as expected, I need both duvets and a wool blanket on top to get near the warmth of a normal 13 tog polyester duvet. Also takes ages to warm up when you first get in bed.Poppers that connect duvets all the way around are 10mm deep, meaning there are hard plastic lumps at edges.Conclusion, for me the temperature regulation aspect trumps all other minor cons. I sleep well, once it warms up. But know what you are getting into, very different from sleeping under a light, quick warming poly duvet.

Deluxe All Season Bedding Set

We bought this king size deluxe bedding set to replace our old duck down duvet and pillows, and we are delighted by the high quality of the products.We have been using the thicker layer of all-season duvet and, whilst it’s thinner than the down duvet, it keeps us at a perfect temperature, and we can add the thinner layer when the weather turns colder.The pillows and protector covers are also very comfortable, as is the mattress protector and Arinta fitted sheet.This is the first time we’ve purchased from the Woolroom, and we were very impressed by the fast delivery, and have already recommended them to our friends.
