Each pillow is hand-crafted from traceable and machine washable British wool. This pillow combines an adjustable loose British wool filling with a soft and cooling wool filled, quilted organic cotton cover.

Adjustable Wool Filling

Each Washable Wool Pillow features the unique ability to adjust the amount of wool filling inside the pillow. This allows you to create the perfect feel tailored to your sleeping style.

For a softer feel, remove some of the wool filling from the pillow which will lower the height, offering less resistance.

For a firmer feel, add an extra bag of wool filling to your order and add this into the pillow. This creates a denser, higher pillow designed to be firmer and offer even more support.

Truly Machine Washable

It's impossible to produce a completely machine washable wool pillow without using some form of treatment on the fibre. It is a complex process that requires a lot of skill and knowledge. We are pioneers of creating a truly machine washable wool pillow.

Ordinarily, the combination of moisture, heat and movement in the washing machine will cause wool to felt and shrink. We've overcome this by bathing our British wool in a chlorine solution, which smooths out the natural barbs you find in wool (these are what cause untreated wool to shrink, clump and ultimately felt).

Love that it is both washable and also variable in height . For the washable part there is a clever calico storage bag for my wool while I wash the case, this is not immediately evident, but super convenient 😊

AMAZING!! These pillows really do help you sleep better . I am obviously sleeping much deeper as l’m dreaming a lot more! Really recommend these pillows. I know they aren’t the cheapest, but they are definitely worth it.
Very well made, you can wash cover and adjust or add more wool if ever needed.

Hugh pillows and really comfortable. Bit if a different spin on puffing your pillows up as you can open and actually separate the wool. Expensive but you honestly do her what u pay for.

The big pillow is my best friend - after my dog ;) Cannot imagine any other pillow - ever.
The smell was not very pleasant in the beginning, but - as I like sheep I managed to adapt ;) It was indoors only during the night the first 6 months.
(The mattress cover was not as smelly and is easy to wash. Love both of them.) Really l o v e ...
(A bit expensive to order from Finland, but well worth the money.)

Chronic neck pain sufferer!!! I’ve spent hundreds if not thousands on pillows in the last few years trying to find that one, the one! I have got to say my expectations are a cartoon character sleeping on a cloud and I know I will never get this but the Woolroom is the next best thing. First time in years I haven’t woke up with a banging headache. Highly recommend

Too Soft For A Medium

Too soft and limp for a medium pillow and therefor too expensive for what it is. Constantly have to fluff it up and not just the weekly fluffing it suggests. I would hate to see what soft is like, if this is the medium. Has put me off kingsize pillows altogether and yet we need then. They should add a little bag of wool, or better yet, put it in the medium pillow to start with as there is very little support

King Size Pillows Are Amazing

Bought two on offer plus an extra bag of washable wool. My husband likes a firm pillow but standard loft and says this is the best pillow that he’s ever had. Firm but snuggly, cosy but not hot. Good quality outer case. I prefer a slightly higher loft pillow so I put mine inside a standard pillow case. I need to open it up and reorganise the wool weekly to keep the loft. Have an extra bag of wool so considering adding a little more. Love that the pillows are fully adjustable to your individual requirements. Recommend buying some extra wool if you like a fuller or firmer pillow. Excellent value.
