What's the difference between a topper and a protector?

A mattress topper is ticker and makes an old, tired mattress more comfortable, while a mattress protector is thinner and protects your mattress from stains.

Will a mattress topper make my bed softer or firmer?

How do I care for my topper?

Dry clean only, do not machine wash or tumble dry. Give the topper a good shake when changing bed sheets to help maintain its shape and comfort. When not in use, store it in the calico bag it arrived in, and avoid vacuum storage.

The mattress topper makes my bed surface far more comfortable. The quality is great and the topper is easy to flip, yet it does not move around.
On a minus, the topper is not as thick as advertised. When I measure it, it's only 2-3 cm thick, everything else is just air (the only negative point) . Please also note that the topper only makes the surface of the bed more cosy, it will not allow your shoulders to sink into it. For that the topper is too thin.
I do however really like it and I am very pleased with it and can recommend it.

We purchased it to replace a foam topper and the difference is chalk and cheese; we are warm but don't overheat, the bed just feels so much more comfortable and personally, I don't feel discomfort in my hips, which I'd been experiencing for months. Could be psychosomatic, but put it this way, I wouldn't go back! The mattress is also slightly higher and the bed looks fluffier. 2 happy peas in a pod.
