Our Extra Wool is suitable for our Deluxe, body or V-shaped pillows to create a firmer feel, Simply un-zip your pillows and add in the extra wool to create a fuller, firmer feel. Add as much or as little as you want until you find the perfect feel for you.

Everybody requires something a little different from their pillow, most people find that the amount of wool in our Washable Wool Pillows is just perfect, but if you need additional support and don't want to add an extra pillow, this is the perfect way to customise your pillow.

Deliver to a room of your choice (up to the first floor)
Unpack and assemble your items where required
Remove all packaging for recycling
Please note that the Junior Mattress and Woolly topper are doorstep delivery only.
Delivery to higher floors is available for an additional charge.
For a small extra fee, we can also remove and responsibly recycle your old like-for-like item.

Truly Machine Washable

It's impossible to produce a completely machine washable wool pillow without using some form of treatment on the fibre. It is a complex process that requires a lot of skill and knowledge. We are pioneers of creating a truly machine washable wool pillow.

Ordinarily, the combination of moisture, heat and movement in the washing machine will cause wool to felt and shrink. We've overcome this by bathing our British wool in a chlorine solution, which smooths out the natural barbs you find in wool (these are what cause untreated wool to shrink, clump and ultimately felt).

Expensive for what it is/ the quantity. This should really be supplied 'with' a set of purchased pillows, as these inevitably require additional filler as the wool compacts with use.

I like the pillows because they are natural. I needed to buy a lot of extra wool in order to make them as firm as I like them. I found the extra wool particularly expensive.

I love my wool pillow and duvet from the
Wool Room. I ordered a bag of extra wool to pad out my pillow but, I have to be honest, I found it expensive for what I received.

Service as usual is very good. Extra wool arrived very quickly and in very sound packaging. I have use extra wool before for plumping up my head pillows, but this time I bought it to make myself a wool knee pillow. I've used a knee pillow for several years to take the strain off my lower back after a bad go of sciatica, but the one I had was polyester and too hot, so I have now made myself a wool version which is already proving to be more thermally comfortable. Wool Room does neck and body pillows but knee pillows could be a good addition to the range? Many thanks.

Bought just in case I needed to add to pillows for future use.

I am extremely happy with the quality of all the items I have purchased.
A mattress protector, 2 duvets with different togs and a pillow protector, all washable.
I have a very accurate sense of smell and the very light scent of lanolin is rather soothing.
I have been with the sweats of menopause for over 15 years and I do wake up several times during the night with a damp t-shirt, pillow, duvet and mattress, and I have to change side and the rest.
From the first night I slept throughout the night and when I woke up I realised I had sweat but the wool had made a HUGE difference, and even the back of my neck was not wet.
I HIGHLY recommend.

Everyone in our family likes different firmness levels for our pillows. Having this on hand helped but was needed for everyone. Still heaps left over so could be used to top up over time.

Having extra wool to top up to adjust the firmness is a brilliant idea. Also, for topping up after a wash of the cover as inevitably some wool loss is to be expected over time.

Not sure when I shall need this but good to have in stock!
