Care Instructions

How to wash a wool blanket
Did you know wool is naturally breathable? This means your woollen blanket will release any moisture it might absorb. So, you won't need to wash it as frequently as you would other household textiles - it'll last longer too! However, if your blanket does need freshening up from time to time, you can simply leave it hung outdoors for a few hours on a nice day.

If you need to clean your blanket because of small spills, marks and the like, you can spot-clean it with a light detergent. However, for anything bigger, we recommend dry cleaning - this will keep it at its very best. Our wool blankets are not suitable for machine washing or tumble drying.
Can you wash a wool throw?
Yes, but our wool throws and bed throws should be cleaned by a professional dry cleaner only. With wool being the wonder material it is, you shouldn't need to wash it very often - a good shake, brush or a couple of hours hanging in the great outdoors will freshen it up.

Super Spotty Sofa Blankets

Yorkshire girl loves Yorkshire mix! These blankets (got one and ordered a second)are an excellent size for snuggling up in on a chilly evening or for the cats to sit on (they always get the best spots). Decorative and practical with so many colours and reversible too. Wool seems strong and is soft. Delivery was superbly speedy and the price was very attractive (especially in the sale)

It’S Wool And That’S The Advantage.

Sofa Throw, grey rainbow spotThis throw is thin, light and a nice colour. Its size is similar to a picnic blanket, so not enough to wrap around the whole person, rather to strategically place on the area one wants to keep warmer. It’s wool and that’s the advantage.

This is a beautiful, soft, very warm and lightweight. It is much thinner than other throws but not itchy as merino wool. I love mine its my favourite throw.

Like a previous reviewer elsewhere on this site, I was surprised by the thinness of this throw but that doesn't bother me because it's absolutely gorgeous. It feels quite soft and looks lovely draped over my bed. Colourwise, the brown, orange and green colours on the reverse rather dominate over the pink and blue.
