    Our warmest option in our Deluxe Washable Collection. This warm weight washable duvet is hand-crafted from fully traceable soft British wool and certified organic cotton. Our Deluxe Washable warm duvet will deliver better sleep and is a perfect option for colder sleepers, giving them a warm yet comfortable night's sleep.

    The Deluxe Washable Collection features the finest quality wool sourced from British farms. Part of our Wool ID® Traceable wool programme, this collection features all the all the benefits of Woolroom bedding: temperature regulating, naturally hypoallergenic, machine washable, traceable British Wool and is proven to deliver the very best, natural night's sleep.

    All Woolroom duvets are suitable for those with allergies and are the only wool duvets to hold the Allergy UK Seal of Approval.

  • Care Instructions

     

    We recommend machine washing on a wool/delicate cycle at 40 degrees using wool detergent, a spin speed lower than 800RPM and then line drying. We do not advise tumble drying. This product is not suitable for vacuum storage.

    Every premium mattress topper (Ryeland or Cheviot) is carefully crafted by hand and shipped to you within 7–8 weeks.

    Mattresses, Beds & Headboards

    Larger items are delivered using our dedicated two-man service for maximum care and convenience.**

    As part of this free service, our team will:

    • Deliver to a room of your choice (up to the first floor)
    • Unpack and assemble your items where required
    • Remove all packaging for recycling

    Please note that the Junior Mattress and Woolly topper are doorstep delivery only.

    Delivery to higher floors is available for an additional charge.

    For a small extra fee, we can also remove and responsibly recycle your old like-for-like item.

Truly Machine Washable

It's impossible to produce a completely machine washable wool pillow without using some form of treatment on the fibre. It is a complex process that requires a lot of skill and knowledge. We are pioneers of creating a truly machine washable wool duvet.

Ordinarily, the combination of moisture, heat and movement in the washing machine will cause wool to felt and shrink. We've overcome this by bathing our British wool in a chlorine solution, which smooths out the natural barbs you find in wool (these are what cause untreated wool to shrink, clump and ultimately felt).

I have tried to talk to them about the duvet and it’s impossible to know if it’s a person or a bot. Either way, I seem stuck with the thing. I can’t recommend this company. The duvet is called ‘warm’, but it really isn’t, and it’s barely Autumn. It was expensive and I expected much more. I am not fan.

I am so impressed with my new duvet. It regulates my body temperature extremely well, so important for a 53 year old female!! I was a bit worried that it would be too hot as the weather is still quite warm, but not at all.
I recently purchased an expensive goose down duvet and had to give it to my son as it was so noisy every time we rolled over. This wool duvet is quiet and a lovely weight. Would highly recommend.

A top quality product, so cosy and warm. Wool definitely helps as a temperature regulator. I’ve not been overheating since ditching my non wool duvet. A real hit with my cats too, they find it very comfortable. Definitely worth the money. I would recommend as it’s given me more comfortable sleeps.
