Care Instructions

How to wash a wool blanket
Did you know wool is naturally breathable? This means your woollen blanket will release any moisture it might absorb. So, you won't need to wash it as frequently as you would other household textiles - it'll last longer too! However, if your blanket does need freshening up from time to time, you can simply leave it hung outdoors for a few hours on a nice day.

If you need to clean your blanket because of small spills, marks and the like, you can spot-clean it with a light detergent. However, for anything bigger, we recommend dry cleaning - this will keep it at its very best. Our wool blankets are not suitable for machine washing or tumble drying.
Can you wash a wool throw?
Yes, but our wool throws and bed throws should be cleaned by a professional dry cleaner only. With wool being the wonder material it is, you shouldn't need to wash it very often - a good shake, brush or a couple of hours hanging in the great outdoors will freshen it up.

Not As Soft But Fab Colours

Fab colours, as on website. However disappointed that it's not softer, feels quite hard and itchy. Have been told by customer service that it'll get softer with use, so hoping for that.

Beautiful

I got two in Tutti Fruitti colours for my kids’ beds. The colours are beautiful and it’s a lovely strong, dense weave with firm tassels. They add warmth on winter nights without being sweaty like fleece blankets.I love the feel, but it is a rough texture , so best over the top of other layers.I get a little buzz of happiness every time I look at them or handle them.In the sale they were also good value compared to other wool blankets.

Beautiful Colours

I love the colours of this throw. It is a tiny bit scratchy as you'd expect from a wool thrown but I have found they soften over time so have high hopes for this one too as it's probably my favourite in terms of colours. If you want a soft throw then the Merino throws are blissfully soft and warm from woolroom. Thank you so much!
