For all orders that contain bedding or accessories, it will ship from our US distribution center in Knoxville on a 2-3 day ground service using FedEx, UPS and Canada Post. FREE ground shipping for all orders $150 and over pre sales tax. Applicable for mainland Canada only.
Mattress orders will be delivered to your doorstep via FedEx in 7-10 days, not including the time required to hand craft your mattress. Your tracking number will be provided to you once your items have been dispatched from our distribution center. As we believe our products are of a significant value we require a signature for all orders. In certain circumstances this signature has been waivered for a contactless delivery.
Please note that in exceptional circumstances your order may be fulfilled from elsewhere. This may go via a different courier to FedEx or UPS. This will not affect the delivery time or experience in any way. We are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses, please use an alternative address or your order may result in a failed delivery.

Truly Machine Washable

It's impossible to produce a completely machine washable wool bedding without using some form of treatment on the fibre. It is a complex process that requires a lot of skill and knowledge. We are pioneers of creating a truly machine washable wool bedding.

Ordinarily, the combination of moisture, heat and movement in the washing machine will cause wool to felt and shrink. We've overcome this by bathing our British wool in a chlorine solution, which smooths out the natural barbs you find in wool (these are what cause untreated wool to shrink, clump and ultimately felt).

You can, but you don't have to! Our wool comforters are essentially duvet inserts. They can be enjoyed with or without a cover. Covers add style, color, and help extend the length of time you can go between washes. All of the cotton on our products is extremely soft and kind to the skin so if you decide not to use a cover, you'll still be comfortable and won't be in direct contact with the wool inside.

A wool duvet or duvet insert and a wool comforter are the same thing. Depending on where you live, you may be used to calling them one name or the other. But, they are the same product! Our wool comforters can be used as-is for bedding or you can insert into a duvet (or comforter) cover for style and protection between cleanings.

This is a great comforter/duvet. It's heavy enough to feel cozy, but not as heavy as a weighted blanket. I've used it with the AC blasting and on hot, humid nights, and it's kept me comfortable during all of it!

I deducted a star because it only has four places to tie on a duvet (one on each corner). I have never seen a duvet with fewer than eight places to tie on a cover; usually there are places to tie on a cover on the sides too. For a comforter of this size, it would help to have more places to hold a cover in place.

But overall, I really enjoy the duvet itself.

Just switched from an old feather duvet to the washable wool duvet in “medium”. I was deciding between the medium and the warm, and am glad I got the medium because it is plenty warm, maybe even a little too warm already for spring. I do miss the weight and feel of my feather duvet, but I like the hypoallergenic aspect of the wool and it is cozy. I didn’t notice it was line dry only before purchasing, and I don’t have a clothes line or anywhere large enough to hang a wet queen size duvet, so that was disappointing. Also 86x86 seems to be an awkward size to find in duvet covers, most I found were closer to 90x90 (only two colour options are offered on this site in 86x86 which I did not purchase).

Nice and warm not too hot. Good quality.

I bought a queen size washable duvet for my cover which is 90" x 92" but your duvet is too small. It measures 86"x86". I am unable to sleep under our current down duvet so I decided to look for a new cover that is 86 by 86 to match your duvet and I couldn't find anything either in the local mall or online. After quite an extensive search it seems that all queen size duvet covers are either 90 by 90 or 90 by 92. This seems to be the standard. The only place I could find with an 86 x 86 duvet cover was on your site which means the only place I could buy a cover that fits this duvet is from you. Cleaver marketing!

As a result of this size discrepancy, I have 6 inches on the top and bottom without the duvet and 4 inches on the sides. I'm disappointed in the size and feel that there should be some kind of warning on your site that your Queen size does not match standard Canadian sizes. Otherwise the duvet looks wonderful and extremely well made.

Medium weight washable wool comforter is just perfect. Feels much more comfortable than what we had before. They said it's breathable, and they were right. A much better sleep under this comforter. We also got a lightweight one to put under the fitted sheet, and that is wonderful too. Love it.
The only negative is that I wish it had a few more inches of width to cover more on the side of the bed.

I love the comforter! It’s light on the body but warm. I bought the medium weight for reference. It feels breathable and I don’t sweat or get too hot. I live in Washington so pretty mild temperatures in winter and summer. I probably could have bought the warmer one for the winter but figured I’d just throw a blanket on top instead as I thought it would be too warm for the spring and summer. Overall, absolutely love it! One reason I took away a star is I feel it should be about 8 inches wider and longer. It feels somewhat “small” for my king bed.
