At first the topper was fantastic but 6 months in, it has developed deep indentations where I sleep. I am not heavy so that is not the problem. It is good quality but for $1000 I would expect more life from this topper.

I'm going to give my honest feedback about my experience with the Wooly Mattress Topper and the purchase/customer support aspects.

First of all, it's important to note that we ended up keeping the topper after an extensive sleep trial. While it was not as advertised on the website, the microcoil design and wool layers did make our mattress more comfortable to sleep on.

That being said, there are a few things that you should know as a prospective purchaser:
1. In order to qualify for the "risk-free" 100-day sleep trial, you need to make a non-refundable purchase of a mattress protector ($250 in the case of our bed size). So, it's definitely NOT "risk-free," you are immediately out the money for the topper
2. There are two things about the listing that border on false advertising (or maybe simply are false advertising). The 3-4 inches of wool is just not true. We measured 2 1/8" inches, and the topper does not look nearly as luxurious or as fluffy as the one advertised. When we contacted customer service about this, first they weirdly demanded to see pictures of our mattress for unknown reasons (maybe our mattress was causing the topper to sag, I don't know?), then they claimed that settling can occur over time and this is normal (we had just bought it), and finally said this is normal variation in the manufacturing process. It definitely felt to us like something shady was going on here.
3. The other thing that struck us as bordering on false advertising is the origin of the materials. The very pricy mattress protector that we were required to add to get the sleep trial was made in the UK and had a bunch of paperwork included to trace the origin of the wool. The topper had no such documentation and just came in a sealed plastic bag without any paperwork. Make of that what you will about authenticity of origin.
4. Given the thinness of the wool (2 1/8" at time of purchase), I believe there is high risk that this will wear out more quickly than a thicker topper would. When we made this purchase for a 3-4" topper, we figured that we would get 3-5 years of use out of it. Now, we're unsure whether we'll make it to 2 years given the build quality.

Wool Room anything. Just do it.

Haven't had a bad night's sleep since installing the topper over a week ago. I can't say that for a single other week in the last five years. Is it the mattress topper? Well, it's the only thing that's changed, so you draw a conclusion. Plus it's comfortable. So far, I'm completely happy I bought it.

Very happy with this purchase I live in Southern AZ and am at that time in my life where sleeping hot is a constant struggle. I primarily got this topper for that reason and it works great for temperature regulation for sure! Also, I found my current mattress to be too soft and was hoping this topper would actually add some firmness to it, and it did that too. If you are looking for "lush" or "fluffy" I don't think this is the right style for you. Overall this has met my expectations and I would definitely buy again.

my husband was having a terrible time sleeping on a two year-old mattress until we got our woolly mattress cover we love it and we are both sleeping so much better ....we are looking forward to receiving our two woolly pillows soon

For the price of this topper super disappointed as it did indeed develop an indent where we sleep (and we're each under 150#).

For the price, a solution should be provided for the cheap, flimsy elastic bands that: 1. Do not fit a 17.25 inch pillow top mattress and 2. If you do stretch and contour and twist hard enough to get one on a corner, it immediately slides right off. I was able to get one corner on but could not get it to stay. None of the other sides would stet j far enough to get on. It is too bad as the pad is decent but useless to me if it won't stay on my bed. It shifts beneath me every night and it is hanging over the bed by at least a foot every morning. You charged me $85 and now you are selling it for $585. I'm insulted and angry. It is sitting unused in my guestroom. My requests for assistance go unanswered. You took my money fast enough but jump ship when a problem occurs. Will never deal with this company again. They have confirmed they are NOT reputable like they advertise!

Bought a king size Woolly Mattress Topper and the first 6 months were great (frequently rotated). Like coil spring mattresses, the coils compressed over time and formed deep indentations where we slept, and eventually became very uncomfortable.

Woolroom is my go to brand for quality sleep and service. I have been in the sleep industry for decades. Friends often ask me which mattress I recommend. I always tell them that for the best sleep buy a Woolroom mattress with a Wooly topper. The comfort and sleeping temperature give you the best night sleep.

Delay tactics on factory defects(8 inches shorter than advertised)Just like other Reddit reviewers state. It doesn’t look like the picture either, it’s not nearly as fluffy.

It’s good, not worth the cost though.
