Adjustable Wool Filling

Each Washable Wool Pillow features the unique ability to adjust the amount of wool filling inside the pillow. This allows you to create the perfect feel tailored to your sleeping style.

For a softer feel, remove some of the wool filling from the pillow which will lower the height, offering less resistance.

For a firmer feel, add an extra bag of wool filling to your order and add this into the pillow. This creates a denser, higher pillow designed to be firmer and offer even more support.

Truly Machine Washable

It's impossible to produce a completely machine washable wool bedding without using some form of treatment on the fibre. It is a complex process that requires a lot of skill and knowledge. We are pioneers of creating a truly machine washable wool bedding.

Ordinarily, the combination of moisture, heat and movement in the washing machine will cause wool to felt and shrink. We've overcome this by bathing our British wool in a chlorine solution, which smooths out the natural barbs you find in wool (these are what cause untreated wool to shrink, clump and ultimately felt).

It's a nice pillow, and I like the fact it uses natural fibres. But it certainly isn't cooling!

We understand how disappointing it can be when a product doesn’t perform as anticipated, particularly when cooling was an important factor in your purchase. Wool is proven to help regulate your body temperature whilst you sleep but the performance can be hindered by other aspects such as your room temperature and what materials your other bedding is manufactured from. This is why we would always recommend one of our bedding bundles rather than just the individual items so we know you are fully cocooned in the wool which will work to help keep you cooler.

Please accept our apologies that the pillow did not meet your expectations in this respect.

Absolutely best purchase! The pillow is so comfortable and definitely have been sleeping more soundly. It takes some getting used to compared to a normal polyester filling, as it compresses to your head movements each night and needs regular fluffing. Love that it's washable and adjustable. Wool is such an amazing material. Would highly recommend!

I absolutely love these pillows, knowing that as I sleep I am not breathing in chemicals but pure sheep's wool, not that you can smell anything. They are supportive for the neck and there's plenty of sheep wool filling. Very well made. I would recommend them, plus it's good to know you can buy extra filling if required. I like my pillows quite plump and they had plenty in for me.
