    • Unpack and assemble your items where required
    • Remove all packaging for recycling

Truly Machine Washable

It's impossible to produce a completely machine washable wool pillow without using some form of treatment on the fibre. It is a complex process that requires a lot of skill and knowledge. We are pioneers of creating a truly machine washable wool duvet.

Ordinarily, the combination of moisture, heat and movement in the washing machine will cause wool to felt and shrink. We've overcome this by bathing our British wool in a chlorine solution, which smooths out the natural barbs you find in wool (these are what cause untreated wool to shrink, clump and ultimately felt).

What can I say...... there's nothing like a duvet from the WOOLROOM ! Materials are exceptional, no chemicals or plastic, such an amazing experience, knowing you are surrounded by natural, basically from nature, quality materials. For me the tog is an all year round sleeping, lounging and resting duvet just like being wrapped in air while you drift off. This is he second duvet I have bought along with 6 pillows from the range, I highly recommend !

So ... I bought this duvet to replace my winter one, thinking I wouldn't use it for a few months. But then I was swayed by what I read on the website and by a friend who has one and uses it all year round and decided to try it in now, in the summer months. And, apart from the most extreme hot temperatures, I have been amazed at how well it adapts to keep me comfortable. It's also relatively light, and an added bonus is how easy it is to put a duvet cover on. Highly recommended.

Made and better quality that the Ikea one. Quite light and it doesn’t make any noise like feather or other wool duvets. Very happy with this duvet.
Customer service isn’t always helpful. I was overcharged by a web glitch they recognised the issue but refused to pay me back the overcharge amount. Now I’ve got mixed feelings about the company.

I debated for a long time about buying this- can I just say “ baby bears porridge” to quote from Goldilocks! I don’t feel like my sinuses are compromised in the morning anymore. The feeling of warmth and comfort is unlike anything I have experienced before in a life changing good way, the duvet keeps me at the right temperature all night, isn’t noisy, and isn’t too heavy or too light. I’m very happy with my purchase, thank you! It’s also so good to know it’s recyclable, eco friendly and we are supporting UK farmers!
