Truly Machine Washable

It's impossible to produce a completely machine washable wool pillow without using some form of treatment on the fibre. It is a complex process that requires a lot of skill and knowledge. We are pioneers of creating a truly machine washable wool duvet.

Ordinarily, the combination of moisture, heat and movement in the washing machine will cause wool to felt and shrink. We've overcome this by bathing our British wool in a chlorine solution, which smooths out the natural barbs you find in wool (these are what cause untreated wool to shrink, clump and ultimately felt).

I have tried to talk to them about the duvet and it’s impossible to know if it’s a person or a bot. Either way, I seem stuck with the thing. I can’t recommend this company. The duvet is called ‘warm’, but it really isn’t, and it’s barely Autumn. It was expensive and I expected much more. I am not fan.

I am so impressed with my new duvet. It regulates my body temperature extremely well, so important for a 53 year old female!! I was a bit worried that it would be too hot as the weather is still quite warm, but not at all.
I recently purchased an expensive goose down duvet and had to give it to my son as it was so noisy every time we rolled over. This wool duvet is quiet and a lovely weight. Would highly recommend.

A top quality product, so cosy and warm. Wool definitely helps as a temperature regulator. I’ve not been overheating since ditching my non wool duvet. A real hit with my cats too, they find it very comfortable. Definitely worth the money. I would recommend as it’s given me more comfortable sleeps.
