    La couette idéale pour un confort optimal toute l'année. Notre couette lavable en coton biologique, de taille moyenne, offre une sensation de chaleur douillette équivalente à 7-10 tog. Elle est suffisamment chaude pour les nuits fraîches, tout en étant assez respirante pour vous assurer un confort optimal au printemps, en automne et durant toute la saison.

    Au cœur de cette couette se trouve de la laine britannique biologique certifiée, naturellement thermorégulatrice, hypoallergénique et d'une douceur incomparable. Grâce à notre programme Wool ID®, chaque fibre est traçable jusqu'à la ferme d'élevage – car la transparence est essentielle pour garantir l'authenticité biologique de cette couette. Elle est enveloppée dans une housse en coton biologique lisse et non blanchi, 300 fils/cm², sans colorants ni produits chimiques agressifs, pour un environnement de sommeil aussi sain que confortable.

    Et voici une première mondiale : cette couette est véritablement lavable en machine tout en restant 100 % naturelle et certifiée biologique. Un confort pur et responsable, pratique au quotidien.

Organic Washable Wool Duvet

At Woolroom, we know exactly where the organic wool in our organic bedding comes from. We work hard to source the highest quality organic wool from around the United Kingdom, including Robert Hyde's farm in Dorset, England. We carry out the most stringent checks to ensure the highest welfare of the sheep and pay a premium to farmer for their raising their sheep through organic farming methods in line with strict third party requirements and certifications.

Our Wool ID® Programme ensures transparency throughout the entire supply chain allowing you know exactly where the organic wool in your bedding has come from.

Truly Machine Washable

It's impossible to produce a completely machine washable wool bedding without using some form of treatment on the fibre. It is a complex process that requires a lot of skill and knowledge. We are pioneers of creating a truly machine washable wool bedding.

Ordinarily, the combination of moisture, heat and movement in the washing machine will cause wool to felt and shrink. We've overcome this by bathing our British wool in a chlorine solution, which smooths out the natural barbs you find in wool (these are what cause untreated wool to shrink, clump and ultimately felt).

I made the move from down to wool because I suffer from allergies. It took a little getting used to but its so comfortable and I am very happy to have made the switch. I chose the all weather weight and think I would have preferred the winter weight as I like a heavier duvet but then that would not have worked in our hot summers so this one is a great compromise.

I bought a medium warm king size duvet £270 because I wanted natural materials a few months ago and I thought I'd use it before commenting.
So from the moment received it looked, felt well made and good quality, not bulky like the synthetic types. I had the best sleep since, warm but not sweaty like other materials, it's sewn so well that the filling never moves around inside so no cold gaps, plus easier to get into a duvet cover because of it. I definitely happy with my buy and pleased to recommend.

Didn'T Wool Machine Wash Well...It Shrunk!

I tried machine washing my duvet on a wool cycle following all the instructions and using a wool wash liquid and it shrunk. Sadly couldn't use it after that and as it was 6 months after the 2 year warranty expired, I wasn't given any advice as to what I could do.

Good Temperature Regulation

I got a medium duvet which feels more 'breathable' than my previous duvet which has a polyester filling. However it's not quite as warm as I expected given that it has a tog rating of 7-10. Perhaps this is because it breathes better.
