Can I wash my wool duvet?

That depends on the collection. Our Washable duvets (Deluxe and Organic Washable collections) can be machine washed on a wool or delicate cycle, while our Classic duvets are dry clean only. Always check the care label before washing.

Do Woolroom duvets help with night sweats or menopause symptoms?

Absolutely. Wool naturally wicks away moisture (technically it transports moisture) and balances body temperature - making it an excellent choice for those who experience overheating or night sweats.

Does this duvet come with a sleep trial?

Yes like all filled bedding, this duvet comes with a 30 Night Sleep Trial. If you don't find you're sleeping markedly better, you can return for a refund or exchange.

How long will my duvet last?

With proper care, a wool duvet can last many years - much longer than synthetic alternatives or feather and down. Wool naturally resists dust mites and odours, and has the ability to absorb moisture at night and then release it throughout the day keeping your duvet fresher for longer.

Wool has an unrivalled ability to regulate to your fluctuating body temperature keeing you cool when it's hot, and warm when it's not. That being said, as amazing as wool is, it does have a finite capability, and therefore we offer them in 4 different weights. If you find that you sleep hot, you may be happier with a light weight, and if you sleep cold, then the warm may be better suited. The medium weight is great for most, but the safest bet for year round use would be the All Season 3-in-1 which is made up of a light and medium weight duvets that can be poppered together to create a warm (the all season is only available in Deluxe and Organic collections).

I already have the medium tog wool duvet which I love but it was a bit too warm this summer hence the purchase of the lightweight one. These duvets are like being wrapped in luxury all night long and I get the best nights sleep with them. Natural fibres are so much healthier and provide a much more comfortable warmth. When I received the parcel I was a bit concerned that they had sent a pillow instead! But no! The lovely bag contained a full size double duvet, which I immediately put a cover on, and used it that night. I am not saying I had a better nights sleep but I love the thickness and weight of the duvet. It stays in place a lot more than a normal duvet and we are very pleased with it.
