  • Allergy UK Certified

We're proud to be the only natural bedding provider to hold the Allergy UK seal of approval for a clean and allergy free sleeping environment

  • Naturally Temperature Regulating

Wool keeps your temperature just right. It draws moisture away to keep you cool, and as a breathable insulator, it works in tandem with your body to keep you warm when the temperatures drops.

  • Machine Washable

Innovation meets nature. Our washable wool pillows combine clever design with all-natural materials—so you can enjoy freshness, comfort, and peace of mind, wash after wash.

Truly Machine Washable

It's impossible to produce a completely machine washable wool pillow without using some form of treatment on the fibre. It is a complex process that requires a lot of skill and knowledge. We are pioneers of creating a truly machine washable wool pillow.

Ordinarily, the combination of moisture, heat and movement in the washing machine will cause wool to felt and shrink. We've overcome this by bathing our British wool in a chlorine solution, which smooths out the natural barbs you find in wool (these are what cause untreated wool to shrink, clump and ultimately felt).

Traceable British Wool

At Woolroom, we know exactly where the wool in all our bedding comes from. We work hard to source the highest quality wool from around the UK. We carry out the most stringent checks to ensure the highest welfare of the sheep and pay a premium to the farmer for their wool.

Our Wool ID® Program ensures transparency throughout the entire supply chain allowing you know exactly where the wool in your bedding has come from.

I bought this and a pillow, meaning I could separate the filling over the two for two thin pillows (front sleeper). I needed the air flow and wicking qualities of wool due to drenching sweats, these have done wonders to alleviate the problem. I’d recommend anyone, particularly menopausal women.
I imagine they’d be ideal in a heatwave too

Hi there, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re so pleased the wool’s breathability and moisture-wicking qualities have helped you sleep more comfortably, and that splitting the filling works well for your front-sleeping setup. We really appreciate your recommendation—and agree, it could be especially welcome during a heatwave!
Best regards,
Woolroom

These are very well made Deluxe Washable Wool Quilted Outer Covers, they feel very substantial when checking them over, nicely padded and finished, I have not washed them yet, I have just put them on the pillows I purchased from Woolroom, they are on my spare bed at present time, the concealed zip is clever, but I suffer with Carpel Tunnel on both hands, So do miss the little eyelet on most zips. But I have to confess it has not been an issue up to date, They feel very luxurious on the pillows. And the idea of being able to adjust the pillows for firmer or softer firmness is very clever. I love natural woolen products and would never go back to feather and down, or anything else these days.

Hi Ronald, thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're delighted to hear you love the quality and the natural feel of our wool covers. We appreciate your feedback about the zip design and hope it continues to serve you well. Enjoy your comfortable, natural pillows!

Does the job, protects my wool pillow, nice and soft to sleep on. More expensive than standard cheap & cheerfull pillow protectors but I feel well worth the money.

Hi Jane, we're glad to hear you find our wool pillow protector soft and effective! Thank you for your kind words and for choosing Woolroom. We believe quality makes a difference. Sweet dreams!

Great products, I'm just not sure the customer experience is as good as it could be. I have found my recent purchase challenging. Damaged item, which I had to return, not refunded for ten days + clearance, just received the wrong replacement.
