Organic Washable Wool Pillow

I bought the organic washable pillow and was immediately disappointed when I received it. I already spent more then I was hoping to have to then buy more filler to make it right for me. I requested to send a return and instead of getting info on how to do this was sent an email from customer service. They did not give me the shipping label but told me how to make the pillow work for me. I responded again saying that I followed their directions in the package such as teasing and fluffing the wool filling, and it was still super flat and I would like a return. I got a 2nd email asking if I fluffed it every night. No return label. I have now sent my 3rd email. Keep in mind that I paid the extra to be able to easily return (never seen this in my life) and so far it’s the hardest return I’ve ever tried to do. They talk about their 30/60 day trials so I thought it would be good. Not good at all. With that said I love the mission of this company but feel they need to be upfront about their products and return policy. If you like a natural flat pillow that’s cool and not heavy, this might be good. If you’re trying 100 percent wool pillow for the first time, look elsewhere.

I did a significant amount of research before purchasing these pillows because I specifically wanted a comfortable, adjustable, organic pillow. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite of what I expected, and I am genuinely disappointed that the reviews did not reflect the problems we experienced.

The pillows are extremely lumpy and difficult to keep comfortable. Despite following the instructions to sift and adjust the wool filling, the pillow does not maintain a supportive shape. The filling constantly shifts, and every morning there is a significant indentation where my head was that does not bounce back on its own. The pillow requires going inside and manually re-fluffing and rearranging the wool essentially every day. That is not what I would consider a comfortable or reasonably adjustable pillow.

More concerning, both my partner and I experienced severe neck pain after sleeping on these pillows. I have had to go to a massage therapist multiple times as a result. For a product costing approximately $300 for two pillows, this is an incredibly disappointing outcome.

What made the situation even worse was the response from customer service. After realizing the pillows simply were not working for us, I contacted the company seeking a reasonable resolution. I had used the pillows for the 30-day period and reached out only a few days afterward. I explained the situation and asked whether I could return them for store credit so I could try a different product from the company. I was told that this was not possible and was essentially left with two expensive pillows that I cannot comfortably use.

I understand that companies have return policies, but there should be some consideration for customers who have made a substantial purchase, genuinely tried the product, and are experiencing significant problems with it. I was not asking for cash back or trying to take advantage of the policy—I was simply asking for store credit toward another product. The lack of flexibility or willingness to find any solution was extremely frustrating.

At this price point, I expected both a high-quality product and responsive customer service. Unfortunately, I received neither. Spending hundreds of dollars on pillows that have caused us significant discomfort, followed by a customer-service experience that offered no meaningful resolution, has left me feeling that this purchase was a complete waste of money.

I would strongly caution prospective customers to think carefully before purchasing from Woolroom. My experience has been that the pillows are difficult to adjust, do not retain their shape, caused significant neck discomfort for both of us, and—when the product ultimately did not work for us—the company was unwilling to offer even store credit as a reasonable resolution.

I sincerely hope Woolroom reconsiders how it handles situations like this. A company selling premium-priced products should stand behind them and make a genuine effort to resolve legitimate customer concerns.

My daughter has severe allergies and I bought this for her. She says it helps her.

A pretty firm pillow - it comes overstuffed with wool that you need to manually fluff & shred to soften it up. I removed about 1/3 of the wool for my own comfort. It took about a week but I'm already getting used to it and I think I'll come to love it. It's cool and very well-made, it just takes a little customization for your own comfort.

I love my pillow! I have chronic neck pain and had been using a memory foam for years. But I noticed that late in the night that the memory foam would sort of “sink”. I love that the wool gives my neck more support, and has helped with my pain. My pillow did have a little bit of a smell in the beginning, but nothing bad. It actually smelled like black licorice. But I think if that bothers anyone, it’s washable lol. I didn’t wash it because I thought it smelled nice. Definitely love that it’s all natural, too

Love that it is washable and that I can adjust the filling. Definitely needs fluffing from time to time butI now I only need one pillow for my head instead of two!!!!

After a long search for the perfect pillow, I finally found it with these wool pillows. I’m an extremely picky side sleeper, and finding a pillow that provides enough support without feeling too firm or too soft has always been a challenge.

These queen-size pillows strike the perfect balance. The wool fill offers excellent support and naturally adjusts throughout the night, keeping my head and neck properly aligned. Unlike synthetic pillows that flatten quickly or memory foam that can feel hot, these maintain their shape while staying breathable and comfortable.

The organic cotton cover is another standout feature—soft, high-quality, and free from the chemical smell that some new pillows have. I appreciate knowing that both the materials and construction are natural and thoughtfully made.

I’ve tried countless pillows over the years, and these are among the few that have genuinely improved my sleep quality. If you’re a side sleeper and have struggled to find a pillow that offers both comfort and support, I highly recommend giving these a try. They are well worth the investment.

A great pillow, it does need more fill so order the extra if you want more of the feel of the more firm pillows! But it has helped my sleep become better! Now I’m saving to buy one of their body pillows! And one for each of my kids. Worth the investment.

DO NOT BUY! This is the lumpiest pillow ever. It feels like a low quality old warn out lumpy pillow. I am so confused how this has positive reviews. I was hopeful this would be a nice natural fiber pillow but it is not! I requested a return within the return window and they never sent a return label. They do not follow the stated return policy. They only told me to fluff the pillow. There is no amount of fluffing that could save this pillow. I regret buying this and will never purchase from Woolroom again due to their poor customer service.

Absolutely fantastic pillow!

I highly recommend this pillow it’s high quality, extremely comfortable, soft and cozy,certified organic wool to me feels so plush and luxurious.

These are overstuffed and wonderful for customizing!

I love my pillows. My neck doesn't hurt when I wake up.
