How does the All Season comforter work? Is it multiple comforters?

It combines two comforters (Light & Medium) that snap together to put you in control of your sleep environment and temperatures. Leave them snapped together for the warmest bedding on cold nights, and snap apart to have two individual options for tempeterature (a light and a medium).

Should I use a duvet cover with my comforter?

We always recommend using a duvet or comforter cover with your insert in order to extend life between washes. Not only does it keep your comforter clean, it also reduces the amount of times you wash the comforter directly. Plus our bed sheets come in a range of warm and cool tone colors for any aesthetic.

How do I clean my comforter? Can I wash it in the washing machine?

Our Deluxe and Organic Washable wool comforters can both be washed in your washing machine at home. We include detailed care instructions when you receive your comforter in the mail. We also have information available online under our Wool Comforter page.

Do you offer a trial period on your comforters?

Yes! We have a 30 day sleep trial* for our wool comforters and several other wool products. If you are not completely satisfied, we will refund your money. We know you'll love it though!

Shipping

For all orders that contain bedding or accessories, it will ship from our US distribution center in Knoxville, TN or Salt Lake City, UT on a 2-3 day ground service using FedEx, UPS or USPS. This is a free service for all orders over $100 (pre sales tax), and will take 2-3 working days to reach you.

Mattress orders will be delivered to you in 7-14 days with FedEx. Your tracking number will be provided to you once your items have been dispatched from our distribution center. As we believe our products are of a significant value we require a signature for all orders. In certain circumstances this signature has been waivered for a contactless delivery.

Please note that in exceptional circumstances your order may be fulfilled from elsewhere. This may go via a different courier to FedEx or UPS. This will not affect the delivery time or experience in any way. We are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses, please use an alternative address or your order may result in a failed delivery.

Truly Machine Washable

It's impossible to produce completely machine washable wool without using some form of treatment on the fiber. It is a complex process that requires a lot of skill and knowledge. We are pioneers of creating truly machine washable wool bedding and have been doing so since 2008.

Ordinarily, the combination of moisture, heat and movement in the washing machine will cause wool to felt and shrink. We've overcome this by bathing our British wool in a chlorine solution, which smooths out the natural barbs you find in wool (these are what cause untreated wool to shrink, clump and ultimately felt).

I have a dust mite allergy, hence the reason I chose wool bedding. This comforter, or duvet insert, is unique in that you can control your comfort needs. The Woolroom was clever, they created two comforter's, one thin, one thick that when snapped together create a thick comforter.

I have only used the thin one as it is very warm right now. It is excellent and really does distribute heat much better! The only thing that was upsetting was that I received a 25% off coupon and I tried to order the linen duvet in pebble and it stated it couldn't be delivered in the US and wouldnt allow me to order. I called and then was told it was sold out, but others that were sold out stated they were. Anyway, I DO love the 3 in 1 washable wool comforter and know I will get much use from it!
