Deluxe Wooly Mattress

THE BEST MATTRESS EVER!!!! I have severe allergies to memory foam, latex or any chemicals that are in almost every mattress in America. I am SO thrilled to note that after sleeping on this for 2 weeks so far, I have not had ONE migraine. I have had to sleep on air mattresses for years in most places to avoid a migraine. I am so happy this one is comfortable and healthy for me and I can SLEEP again after 5 years of terrible headaches! Thank you Woolroom!! I will eventually have one for every room in the house! This is my first mattress upon getting married, and I couldn’t be happier.

Three years ago I purchased an extended twin mattress. It was several inches shorter than the advertised size and the size on the mattress tag. I called and they said they sent the correct mattress. Fast forward to April 2026 and we ordered the same mattress again. And this time they sent the correct mattress with the correct dimensions that matched the description on the website and mattress tag. So now I have confirmation that the first mattress was mistagged and I received a regular twin mattress rather than the extended twin I paid for and wanted.

This writing reflects my overall experience. As a person with nine surgeries in five years on my spine, how I sleep how much pain I am in and what my mattress does to make that better or worse is very important. I felt very confident and hopeful about this purchase. However, the bed arrived custom-made with some amount of waiting time. I was confident in the sleep trial, if it was too hard or too soft or I didn’t have my best night sleep ever as they advertise. I thought I would be able to return it or exchange it. I misunderstood the communications with their customer service agent to mean sleep on it 100 days and then contact us for a return or exchange. It has been 118 days and I am now unable to exchange or return the mattress for something with more support. Just a heads up people out there make sure you get your calendar time straight. The deluxe woolly mattress is not deluxe. It is not plush. It is not like a pillow top that is clean and chemical free. It is hard. It does appear to be well made. Make sure that you put a cover or topper on it because the buttons for the tufting you can feel underneath your sheets. Overall, we are incredibly disappointed in this purchase and investment. This company offered me absolutely no solution to my expensive extremely hard mattress. No we will send you a topper. Or you can buy something to add on top at a good discount. Nothing just, we are sorry, nothing we can do.

The Wooly Deluxe medium mattress is mediocre feel and quality. No break in period, but after 60 nites I felt like the mattress was too soft. I sank in a little too much, so the company sent me a firm mattress. No sag, but very firm feel. I slept on top of the mattress. I rotated the mattress every 2 weeks. My sleep was ok for 30 days then grew progressively poor to awful. After 75 nites, I realized my hips were in a hole (measured 1.5 inches deep). I requested a refund, and sent photos measuring the depressions with a yardstick and a ruler. The company replied these were normal, just rotate and shake the mattress frequently. (I already rotated and shook it every 2 weeks!) Not an acceptable answer from the company, so I bought a new mattress from a local company. I sleep great now. :o) Buyer beware.

excellent customer service, easy to communicate with for questions, since receiving this wool mattress, changing out from a foam mattress, I no longer sweat at night nor do I awaken due to over-heating. cannot recommend enough for anyone to make the shift to wool, the natural fibre.

Bed is not the correct size. Two inches short on length and width, even after using company's expansion methods.

I’d actually give the mattress 3 stars but customer service deserves 1 star so I went with two stars for this review.

First, the mattress. I wanted to love it because of its natural fibers, but it’s pretty hard even with a mattress pad. I’m pretty petite (5’4”, 110lbs) and a side sleeper, but I wake up frequently in the middle of the night because my side has gone numb. The mattress has also started to dip in already after only a couple of months. For this reason, I wanted to return, which brings me to…

Customer service. In the VERY fine print, your mattress only qualifies for the sleep trial if you purchase a mattress protector FROM THEM and AT THE EXACT SAME TIME AS YOU PURCHASE THE MATTRESS. This should be made WAY more clear. I had purchased a mattress pad from the company a couple months prior to use on our old mattress before purchasing a new one. When we purchased our new mattress from Woolroom, we used our Woolroom mattress pad. But because we didn’t purchase a mattress protector, we didn’t qualify for the sleep trial and weren’t able to return our mattress. That’s honestly pretty misleading. For that reason, I’d never purchase a mattress from them again. Moral of the story, go with another company that will give you a 365 day sleep trial.

The mattresses arrive wonderfully packaged in compressed plastic bag. There were no directions on best methods for opening or how long to allow bed to expand. The mattress is beautiful. However, the buttons that section the mattress are hard and my children have had a difficult time getting comfortable at night without it poking them. The mattress did not arrive with any paperwork so it took some digging to find out that it cannot be placed on box springs. I had to order boards from a different vendor to put them on. The website also mentions a QR code that you can scan to see the source of the wool. We have yet to locate this and my children were excited by the opportunity. I ordered 2 full and 1 queen mattress and plan to order a few more in the future. We have had them about a month plus.

Probablement une erreur de ma part mais j'avais l'impression que ce matelas était sans ressorts. Après 6 heures de sommeil je dois me.lever car trop de points de pression à cause des ressorts. Par contre pour la régulation de la chaleur il est fantastique. Au final je suis un brin déçue.

Some of the best sleeps I’ve ever had. I look forward to getting into bed at night as the bed is so comfortable. And no sweaty nights, no weird chemical stink. Even the cat loves it.

I love going to bed now knowing I am not absorbing chemicals all night. Thanks Woolroom for making this great mattress. We will be ordering a few more soon.

Sleeping so much better on a product that is health minded. The headaches have subsided and my sinus issues have all but disappeared. Yippie!

Can't say enough good things as bout the mattress. Healthy,firm and comfortable. Love it!

The mattress wsa cut uneven. The width is angled due to wrong cut and measurements. Next, the mattress was delivered with loose threading. The mattress arrived defective. However, Woolroom will not acknowledge the defects...

After disassembling my foam mattress and 6” topper, I do like the springiness of my new mattress but I now have lower back pain. I’m trying to figure out if I just have to work my way into it or if I need more softness on top. I used to have fibromyalgia symptoms thus the memory foam but that has smoothed out. So I thought I would try naturalnot deal with the sweating and chilling of foam. Otherwise, I really enjoy the feel of its construction.

Bought another brand and it was hard on my hips. This Woolroom mattress has an 8.5 rating and it was right on the nose. Great for my back and great for my hips. Very well made too with no off gassing. Highly recommend this company for this mattress and their comforters.

Very uncomfortable, I wake up with my ribs soar. When I lie on my stomach I wake up sore. Had to buy a topper from Naturepedics to feel comfortable. To me, the mattress feels cheap! You can feel the springs through the mattress. I wish I had gone with another brand

I’m so happy I bought this mattress. I also have the wool topper, mattress protector, pillows and comforters which I purchased first. I LOVE all of them! So when it was time to buy a new mattress I knew I wanted to get a healthy mattress as well. I bought the medium firm which is perfect. Not too firm or too soft. The investment in creating a luxurious, comfortable, healthy sleep haven was well worth it. I highly recommend Woolroom products. They make well made superior quality products that are great for comfort and health.

I enjoy the mattress. it is very comfortable. Firm but not hard. Recommend buying one for yourself!
