  • Description

Soft, sculpted and unmistakably modern. The Charlotte's rounded silhouette and wooden plinth base make it the centerpiece of any bedroom, while its 48" standard headboard keeps the profile relaxed and understated, ideal for rooms with lower ceilings or a window behind the bed.

This is our most tactile design. Choose real shearling in a light or dark tone for a finish you'll want to reach out and touch, or upholster it in one of our premium natural fabrics. Then finish the plinth in hand-waxed Ash, hand-waxed White Oak or Sable to complement your fabric. Beneath the upholstery, the headboard is filled with natural latex, cotton and wool.

Like every Woolroom bed frame, the Charlotte is handcrafted to order in Hickory, North Carolina, by furniture makers with three generations of experience, and built around your choice of size, upholstery, plinth finish and footboard height.

Prefer a higher profile? Explore the Charlotte bed frame with a 60" high headboard.

  • A Sculptural Form on a Plinth Base

A distinctive plinth base gives the frame a strong, architectural presence, creating a clean
and sculptural silhouette that feels both contemporary and timeless.

Crafted from solid timber and carefully finished to celebrate the natural character of the
wood, the plinth provides a beautifully grounded foundation for the frame. Its considered
proportions create a sense of quiet luxury, allowing the natural materials and refined form
    to take centre stage.
